We will have scouted better keepers this season. Stockdale did a good job for us and helped get us promoted, but we need an all round better keeper for the prem.
Lets not forget we do have Jakupovic... Jokes aside, Stockdale did a great job for the club, but IMO I'd rather have Boaz back in hoensty.

Well, he'd have plenty of experience at picking the ball out of the net. I would go for Mannone, but it rather depends on budget. Think this article is a bit misleading. He's not too expensive, he's too expensive for what he is. We can (and I suspect will) pay £3m for a goalkeeper, we (Bruce) just don't think Stockdale is worth that. I suspect a huge percentage (99%?) agree. Stockdale's main strength was relative reliability (relative to Jak and Gulacsi), and the fact that he never got injured and exposed us to the likes of Jak, Gul, or Amos. That's good, but not £3m good. £1m as a back-up I think. But I don't think he wants that. Which is fair enough. But £3m Jol/Giraffe.

Mannone please, a keeper whos played in the cl, around world class players everyday, doesnt concede many goals unlike a relegated keeper, knows us and loved it here No brainer
