Thought it was about time your new president for life started a good morning thread. It's 20:35 on Tuesday here, but no doubt you'll all be up and about soon.

Question for the day - what would you like me to do next (apart from die painfully, which is a given):

    a) Stay as president at Leeds and continue to write thought provoking and erudite programme notes

    b) Buy a club like Huddersfield, Barnsley or the Wendies and drive them to the brink of bankruptcy and the Blue Square northern?

    c) Spend my few remaining years pecking the heads of the morons at the FA about football governance as though I knew anything about it.

    d) Something else - please specify.

Finally, in the absence of any solid rumours to get excited about, I'm thinking of changing my alter-ego. I have a couple of ideas, but which character from LUFC should be posting on here regularly? I'd thought of going for a confused and incontinent Peter Lorimer, but it's really not too much of a change is it?

Hey Mr Pres, why not go for the double whammy? All you have to do is buy scum, then bankrupt them and you too at the same time!

Morning Jock! It's a great suggestion, but as you may have noticed I can't even afford to finance a championship club with healthy gate receipts. If someone wants to lend me some money though, I'd be more than happy to turn Old Trafford into a pointless corporate entertainment venue with no soul, which only rich plastics can afford to visit once in a flood.

    No, wait... :steam: :bandit:

Funnily enough and of course I'm going to be slated for this but I actually think Ken Bates has a lot of very good ideas about the way football should be heading. I think he's probably too old now to have any real influence but he maybe should've done that instead of taking over Leeds United

And good morning to you young Josh! I appreciate your support. Although it's only about ten past six in the morning, I've just shat myself for the second time today, and I can't remember what you were saying. Or your name.

Oh yes - that was it! The bloody FA! Quite right young man. Quite right! Been telling the buggers for years that they need a full time member of staff to polish the buttons on all those blue blazers. Have at them eh? Needs an energetic young man like you to get the point across I suppose.

Nurse? More of the wobbly bottom pills please! Yes. That's the ticket. :bandit: :Where'sTheFuckingShittingMyselfAgainSmiley?:

If you count triple anal incontinence by 7 AM as well, then yes. Thanks for asking!

MME? Is that Massively Marginal Economics? Well up for that old chap. And good morning! :bandit: :pfffffffftsquelch:

This is a sad moment indeed. I honestly thought you'd never go. It did seem like that.

My advice would be to go buy whatever club Neil Warnock ends up at, and work closely with him developing them. He seems the sort of manager who instinctively knows what you want.

On this board - Peter Lorimer is probably the current commentator whose insights I particularly enjoy, if you were changing your name.

Good morning Mr 20:20! Alas it appears I can't stop going this morning. :emoticon-0106-cryin

Unfortunately you and I both know I have no interest in buying Miwwaww.

An early triumph of mine was a statement on this very website which was linked on the official club site for a while. No idea how that happened, but no lawyers made themselves known to me. :emoticon-0150-hands I think there might be some potential in finding out the views of Mr Salem Patel though... :bandit:

Good morning Mr. Farsley. I have valued my ashes at £14.62 in terms of the equivalent quantity of NPK fertiliser. Once your cheque to my estate has cleared, Suzanne has been authorised to release my cremains to you.

Please scatter me in an executive box though. I've never found the pitch all that interesting. :bandit:

Mr Bates, if you were given Millwall Football Club as a present, what would you do with it?

I'd probably **** it really enthusiastically. Like all the best ladies of the night, it got rid of its Jackett before even meeting me. <smooch> :bandit:

EDIT: And when I say "enthusiastically" I really mean outside the current limits of the law. For tax purposes like... :bandit:
