I'm not sure you've quite understood this thread.

Sorry I thought the thread was full of your lot banging on about what's big club we think we are, whereas if you actual read what the majority on our board say we recognise if offered (which looks unlikely) he'll probably go.

As some of your former managers have found out whether the move to a bigger club first chance they get is not always the best career move though.

There's great joy being taken on this board that he might go which is what I was getting at and secondly surely you guys know better than anyone that a new manager can be the start of something better rather than backwards step.

Nobody knows who is staying who is going and who is joining and that's the reality....we will know all that on the first day of the new season and not before....

That is absolutely true. The secret is that any manager coming in would have to be of the same mould - someone who would be pleased with the players they'd be inheriting and look to build on that, rather than changing playing styles. The sort of time of year where there's a lot of changes.

With Martinez winning the cup, it looked a safe bet that Everton would go for him, but with Wigan relegated it muddies the water a little. The discussion does somewhat ignore the good work that Lennon has done in Scotland. OK my nan could win that league but he had some great results in Europe (beating Barca at home etc) and might be worth a punt. It would make sense, as I say about not changing too much, for them to go for a manager in the same mould as Moyes. Still, what do we know? They might think it's time to kick on and become a bit more attacking and continental etc, hence why Laurdrup's name came up.

Well, we'll see. Looking forward to the derby and it would be nicer if it was led by two men who understood their teams, rather than newbies.

Us fans are the only ones that are loyal to any club whatever anyone thinks, from the chairman, board, manager, staff and the players are all in the game for one thing only and that is Money......everyone of the latter mentioned will automatically have a price that would see them move on and that is the reality of the situation......There is only 4 or 5 clubs in the premiership that can say they wont be in any sort of relegation battle next season, the rest of us know that if we dont get things right then we will struggle and it will be the degree we struggle that will determine who will finish in the bottom three......Nobody will know that at this stage not even the so called professional bookies.....Nobody knows for absolute sure who will be at which club whether its managers or players yet....All speculations about who stays and who goes and even who joins will only be a fact on the First day of the new season.....until then its all speculation .....
