thats what these next few months will be and its so important we get it right this time.

I am pretty sure our days of buying average, overpriced plodders are over and I think the departure of MoN and some parts and definitely the sacking of the entire scouting network proved that.

we need to identify qualities in players that will fit into a way PDC wants to play and from what he has said I am positive he will do that.

Pace, Power and Composure are absolutely vital when looking for new recruits and I feel we will have more footballing footballers in our side next season. I think we will also be going down the route that Newcastle and Swansea have in scouring Europe for players rather than playing way over the odds for average players

PDC's biggest problem will be getting rid of Bruce's deadwood but he really has to rip the playing staff apart this summer. I wish him well and thank God Ellis brought him in even though it could easily have been too late.

Been a supporter since the 40s and, taking everything into consideration, this is the biggest upheaval I can recall. Thanks to Bosman we are stuck with players who have to be paid regardless, an untried manager, finances based on Sky money.

All in all it smacks of upheaval that may only lead to another season of "change", with survival being the basis of it.

We have to accept that we will get peanuts for some players but they need to go. We need 4 or 5 quality players straight into the first team. Its gonna cost some serious money but thats what it'll take.

the point of not getting relegated is the money side of things , i hate sky and all its ideals , the sport is in a big mess outside the prem but , a big but is the cash to every club who survived its a choice once again , invest in players or gamble on getting through with no real ambition of anything but staying in the prem this time next year.
any one of the top five will win it next season to be sure.
i think any real fan of the rest of us know this its how the season pans out football wise that counts , this season must rank amongst one of the worst for entertainment .
if we win great if we lose thats footy , but no more gutless efforts ,no more **** signings, no more meal tickets for anybody anymore , lets get a back bone , and play to win .

pdc our happiness is in your hands

Hopefully Paulo and Short will hold a meeting tomorrow regarding transfer funds now that we know we are safe.
The sooner we start planning for next season the better because they's a lot of work to do, and August will soon come round!
