At the start of the season, yes, but he's come on and changed a couple of games for us recently. Whenever I've seen him in March/April he's done very well.

 

Bring on Newcastle. They have nothing to play for, we should beat them easily.


Also, i'd avoid blue and white kits. All 3 relegated sides wear blue and white.

 

Santi was magnificent. What a performance from him, the little Spaniard with the big heart.

 

Pity it had to Wigan,could think of several others I would rather have seen go down.

 

Love Santi. Such a great player.

Walcott put alot in today also.

 

Well we got it done in the end, more comfortably than I expected. On to Newcastle next.

All the Sky dickheads patronizing little old Wigan. They are utter **** for two thirds of the season, and by the end of the season, everyone forgets that fact. They deserved to go down

Good game from us in the end. We started brightly and then got hit with a sucker punch. Wigan came out in the 2nd half and pegged us back for a bit, but we took control again and made sure that we got the job done. Credit to Cazorla and Walcott and to Gibbs for keeping McManaman quiet in the 1st half. The pressure was on tonight and the lads and the manager deserve a lot of pressure for getting it right

Just watching Szczesny's save from Kone at the start of the 2nd half. BIG SAVE and he deserves a lot of credit for that

 

Shame. He's one of my favourite ever Arsenal players.

Yeah. He was loyal to us when he was at his peak, whilst all his mates left, he stayed, worked hard, and gave his all, and even though he's probably leaving, remember he criticised the club for not offering him a deal, which sounds like he wanted to stay. Just because he's not the most glamourous player (someone like Cesc, DB, TH) or british (Adams, Bould, Rocastle) doesn't mean he can't be one of my favourites.
