The lad McArthur would be a good signing. McManaman would be good but I think one of the big boys will come for him.

Handy not good enough for me. We need a regular, quality goalscorer and, although he's decent enough, he can't get a start at Wigan behind Kone.

Martinez' teams can never defend. We were always out scoring the opposition more than 1 or 2-0 wins etc. he went to Wigan when they could defend pretty well under Bruce and again done the same. Poor defensively, but will win games but out scoring. They were mid table when he took over, don't think they've been past 15th since.
IMO Everton will pick up on this and will look elsewhere.

Bony agree 100% Martinez did well for us but we did well for Martinez and people forget that.

He was playing non league/league 2 for Chester when we took him off the scrap heap and give him an opportunity to become something in management, Dodgy Dave didn't think about him did he? didn't give him a roll at wigan as a coach or youth development officer etc.

The repayment for giving Bobby a chance in life was to be stabbed in the back by him ,we can never forget that. I will never forget how the club was ripped apart by him after we give him a chance in football, to repay us in the way he did to me is unforgivable .
Its not so much the taking of the job but everything else that went with it, unsettling the likes of Rangel,Britton and others .Taking Scotland, the scout that was here before him,the coaches, the physios that was totally ruthless and spineless .

Swans were lucky that Sousa was able to make us hard to beat because for the first few months we were in a complete mess...caused by Bobby and Bobby only.

Had allegedly had meetings with Dave months before he ****ed us off, he didn't answer his phone to the club and ****ed our pre season tour up because he was underground avoiding having to talk to people about the organisation.

The Swans were extremely lucky to survive that season, Sousa copped a lot of stick because everyone including the chairman were still IMO frustrated by the sudden departure of a man who promised the Earth but gave us Bullshit.

Difficult times which I think many have graciously forgiven. Not me, **** Martinez, his Brown shoes and his greasy bald head <ok>

Bobbys interview was fun, he was almost in tears :)

When asked about why they went down bobby said they have had defensive problems all season....**** me, there are about 18,000 swans fans that could have told him that 4 yrs ago..<laugh>

The guys on Norweigen TV are asking why Bobby takes a team down and battles relegation for 4 yrs but constantly gets linked to decent jobs at others clubs! it doesn't make any sense does it ?
He has been mostly **** since going there and from day 1 hasn't been able to sort out a tight defence,so why the hype with him ? a relegation will dent Bobby IMO, but knowing the clowns in the prem league he will probably get offered Arsenal or something in the summer..<laugh>

He's quick, tall, aware and a good footballer. A few sessions with Ivor down RTB on how to shove the ball in the net and he'll be the finished product <laugh>

fair play to wigan they have had a good run in the premiership and have been struggling in the relegation battle for a few seasons now.....everything comes to an end for clubs like wigan and most of us one day....Good luck to them for next season with or without martinez.....

Martinez was one of the main foundation-layers for what we are today so I find it difficult not to like him, but I have little time for Wigan and their poxy, senile Chairman. How such an idiot made millions is completely beyond me.

I remember a post from someone with the tag 'vancouverlatic' (you may remember him) and he gave it large on our forum when his Club took Martinez and our backroom staff, saying "that's life" and that we should "get over it".

    I think today I finally am. :)

Norway I agree 100% with all that.

Martinez is a disloyal rat and he's finally got his come-uppance.

Hopefully PL teams will see his record at Wigan and realise its Martinez that took that team down. In the 4 yrs he's been there they have been in one continuous dogfight against relegation. His defensive naivety has finally got him. I wonder how much he "loves" Wigan?

He was hardly disloyal to Wigan. He refused a move to two bigger clubs to stay with them. Definitely Villa, and if the papers got it right, Liverpool. That said, you're right - his teams just can't defend and he's far from the complete manager.

Well I'm well over Slick Willy from Santander, so I'd like to just repay him by poaching a couple of their players, McManaman, and Maloney will do as starters! And could I suggest some anger management Norway?...............<cheers>
