    Have to tip my hat and say very well done to Sheffield Wednesday. They have declined a lucartive sponsorhip with a loan company.
    I am especially impressed that they recognize "we take great pride in our standing as a community focused football club and believe this partnership would not have been welcomed by the majority of our supporters.”

    My opinion of the Wendies has risen dramatically :emoticon-0150-hands

    Don't know the full details of Portsmouth's financial history, but wasn't it Gaydamak who did the most damage to that club? But then I doubt either of them would charge a club 4000% APR ...

    I think this is a good move by Wednesday. **** those shylock bastards, hope we get rid of ours asap.

    He's also been charged with two counts of fax evasion, though he got off both.
