Stick to Guinness when in London, the other crap they serve down there comes straight out of the Thames.including the slimy eel lunch.

Last time I was in the Old Dart I went down to Greenwich for a look 'round (the Cricketers had gone by now!) and had pint in a pub I can't remember the name of. Had a pint of Bishop's Finger, Sheperd Neame's from Kent, f**king lovely. So much better than the gnats piss we get here. Mostly I drink 'foreign' beers, usually German or French. Apart from wines, the Aussies don't have a lot going for them in the alcohol stakes, but the reds do take some beating! Still and all, I LOVE my scotch.

When Tetley's separate the tea making from the beer making the tea might be alright.....

Newcy Brown is good - but as Brisbane says Shepherd Neame from Kent is gorgeous - they used to do a Christmas special that was rationed to a pint a punter. So we used to get others/non drinkers into the pub to go up to the bar and get their allocation for us...magic
