We provide so many, they even could let Carroll have a rest. Any ITK on the Ince saga ?? And I WUMmed Saints supporters at Seven Sisters tube the other week, asking whether the paperwork had been done yet for Shaw. One reply was that they've already sold us one (Bale) . But as he is a rubbish LB they still owe us a proper one.
Family gathering? Chelsea had 17,000 at Stamford Bridge last night and 3,000 of them were Norwich fans. Is that normal?!
Apparently Norwich took 3,000 fans to Stamford Bridge last night too. 7 o'clock was probably a bit difficult for some to get there for but I'm sure we could do much better, it's a shame we can't prove it with the final.
Why not? If Norwich can take 3000 why can't we. I have today asked for the day off and hoping to arrange transport. Not certain yet but making plans.
"Have they announced the date for the final ??" Every club affiliated to the FA knows the exact date (May 20) . Except Spurs. One good thing is that the opponents have their own "TV channel" . Which means those not attending will get the chance to watch the game on TV or on Internet streams.
Two big games this evening. At the Emirates, it's just started and it's 0-0. At Old Trafford, United are currently 2-0 ahead against Liverpool in the under 21 semi final.
Looks like we should've buried the game in the first half, then could easily have thrown it away in the second. More clinical finishing from Obika would've seen a healthier scoreline, but it's a good sign that he didn't hide and kept looking for chances. Nice to hear their 2nd equaliser given a round of applause. Very sporting. Superb bit of skill. Impressive save at the end from Archer to keep us ahead. Sounds like the crowd kept up a good their support throughout the game. Shame about the numbers, but that's already been discussed. If the Geordies don't do us a favour and we end up in the Europa League again next season, then we really need to be looking to blood a number of these youngsters in the cups. Focus on improving the first XI, get a strong 18 in place, clear out the dead wood and start to bring players through our ranks. If we need to drop the ticket prices or make concessions for family groups for those fixtures in order to fill out the stadium, then it'll be worth it in the long run. Why spend unnecessarily on journeymen and loan out the likes of Rose and Townsend?
Ticket prices for next Monday's big match at Old Trafford are £5 adults and £2 concessions. The game is free for MUFC season ticket holders and members. The game is being shown live on MUTV. Kick off is at 7pm.
Now I see the Obika header from that position, the more it seems to support Spurcats' claim twas more of a stumble than intended.
Good interview of Kane on the Sky Sports site: http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11096/8718386/Earn-your-Spurs Seems like he's not too down, concentrating on looking forward and proving himself rather than regreting a year that didn't really get him anywhere.
Do not think Kane will make the grade in the end, but you cannot fault his attitude. Every U21 game I have watched him in this season, he is a 100% trier (and for that I hope he does make it somewhere) .
