agree , i would not had booed Rooney too tbh ..i don't mind if rooney wanting to leave the club
but the manner he handle it, by removing UTD player statue from his twitter is childish .. and the main problem with rooney is he often do that just to get a new deal, is not like he genuinely want to leave , that is what is more frustrating about Rooney , so i can understand people being pi$$ed off, i personally and said it here before never still forgive him for the way he dealt with his contract negotiation last time, it was disrespectable to his manager, teammates, club and the fans

He's already cleared up that taking Nike athelete thing was due to sponsorship issues and was changed weeks ago. It still has a big picture of Rooney playing for United so I don't think that is even an issue.

Others have said it already but part on me thinks the club is trying to cash in as much as Rooney may want to leave himself. He spat his dummy out and and had a word in private with the manager. Nothing done or said in the public eye. It's the club that has decided to go public with it which speaks volumes to me.

  5. How would taking a possible disruptive influence who earns very high wages 'get one over Man Utd' when they would also be giving them a large pot of cash to spend?

I don't see him as a disruptive influence. Don't agree with him being booed either, the lad has done a lot for our club.

I think he is badly advised, as really he should come out and make a statement as to what he wants to do. I'm happy for him stay and if he wants to go thn I'd wish him all the best.
