The day before they had the ticket sale in 1999 I was at a mate's barbecue. Got home drunk realising i'd have to be up early the next day to get up there. Seemed a good iodea to jump in a cab and sleep outside the stadium instead! It was great when more people turned up at around 5AM though - a real party atmosphere.
Please please go. Look at it this way - I can't go (shall be on a bl--dy motorway in spain. doh) so take my place. I went to Cardiff 06, just amazing. Ok - it's a downer if we lose, but I am so gutted at not going for the atmosphere, etc it's not true. It's the one opportunity to get SO MANY WFC fans at one match. Villa Park semi against soton was the same. We lost, but such great atmosphere. Anyway, the incentive to beat that muppet hollowhead should sort the result no trouble. of course if Zaha resorts to his Knockaert impersonations then who knows... BTW, on the way home on Sunday, talked to a couple who had been to see Wigan, and also to Wemberley several times. If you do go, ANYONE, the cheapest seats really are nearer to Mars. It is worth paying more to be closer.
I went to the American Football in October, sat near the front, and the tickets weren't as much as that, but it could be because the NFL threatened to take the European match away from Wembley if the tickets were above a certain amount.
Does anyone know for sure what "Buying history in the current season" means, re the Saturday 18th ticket sale? A couple of mates only got to the Leeds game and wondered if that counts?
i don't know, worth a shot i'd say as long as they ordered tickets through the website or at the ticket office, they should be fine. If they bought them at the gate, they'll have problems..
