A study which has been completed by Campaign for Better Transport has found that Southampton were fifth in the Premier League in a study of how fans are served by public transport when it comes to getting to different grounds. The study, which featured more than 1,000 fans, looked at how well the grounds were served by public transport links as well as a number of other factors. The ratings are averaged, and are out of 100. please log in to view this image DTLW
Newcastle must have amazing transport links to beat Arsenal, who have about 4 tube stations, a rail station and countless buses within a 10 minute walk of the stadium. Chelsea are virtually next door to Fulham Broadway tube as well so I'd have expected them to be higher.
Really? Our train station is miles away. Reading's wasn't that bad either, it was a bit of a pain in the arse but very easy - train then bus straight to ground.
Ouch - Man Utd getting relegated from the Public Transport league, by the looks of things. The real reason for Ferguson going? Forced out by the transport unions?
Or Fulham so high - takes an age to walk there from the nearest tube in my experience. Nice to see us knocking on the door of Public Transport Champions League, though. Any idea if that's the final table, or do we have a matchday journey in hand? Be nice to knock Spurs out of the final European place. Take on the might of Barcelona and Bayern and their mighty train systems and clean buses.
It is not too difficult to get to Old Trafford and I would not say it is too easy to get transport to our ground...
From what I can remember, Loftus Road is on the central line and the central line is horrific. Wonder how Pompey would score.
You can get there by various lines. I went by the Central though which wasn't particularly bad at the time.

Not quite true. The shuttle bus is still there, it just charges £3 rather than being free as it was when we were last in the Prem.
From my away days this season I would say Reading are far and away the worst. ****ing noddy club, how on earth is a bloke expected to sit on a bus for 45 mins, missing valuable drinking time and also desperate for a jimmy? Bloody joke. Can't see how spurs are so high either, that's a pain in the arse. Norwich is great, villa pretty good and I reckon qpr the best London ground for ease of getting there. Liverpool was good getting in, but balls ache getting out. So winner would be norwich imo.
Spurs 4th. I was about to complain given the length of my recent journey. However, you can just hop on a bus at Waterloo if you wish. Reading is tough on public transport but the easiest to drive.
