Royal Mail will be issuing a new football stamp as part of the House of Windsor set, which completes the series of British KIngs & Queens. The stamp, which features on the miniature sheet, depicts the England team lining-up for the 1966 FIFA World Cup Final against West Germany at the old Wembley Stadium. Royal Mail will be issuing a set of 6 British Auto Legends on 13th August to coincide with the 150th birth anniversary of Henry Royce and the 100th anniversary of Aston Martin cars.... please log in to view this image ...there will also be a miniature sheet featuring four British Auto Workhorses.
Not a football stamp issue, but you may be interested in knowing that Royal Mail will be issuing a commemorative miniature sheet on 8th August in honour of English tennis player Andy Murray's Men's Singles Championship win at Wimbledon. The sheet is made-up of two first class stamps (60p each) and two £1.28 stamps for a face value of £3.76.
