This. Would we have wanted a Rooney who wasn't in the right state of mind to play? I'd much rather give Hernandez a start in that situation.
If Nani doesn't play against WBA on Sunday then you have seen the last of him. One of the biggest things I found strange about Sunday's match was Anderson getting on the pitch, alot of us couldn't believe it when he came stomping on, if that was one of Fergies last ever substitutions then I find it an odd myself.Cleverley,Evans and Buttner would of been more deserving of it IMO
Rooney has largely been responsible for some of the titles won, he doesn't deserved to be booed. He hasn't brought glory on himself but people have already forgotten the joy as hs truck the overhead to beat City, what have you done for me lately plastic ****s
Aye, we've forgotten it almost (but not quite) as quickly as Liverpool forgot the joy Torres gave them against Utd and Real in 2009. Plastic, unbend thyself
Once you have dried the spittle from the edges of your mouth can you re-write the last two sentences in English?
A power **** normally occurs on a Friday night after 11 pints of Guinness. As you enter the bathroom a turd atrrives before you have a chance to get your pants down. The bathroom window is then opened and the said turd and pants are "Powered" over next doors wall. That is the official definition
according to the Sun there was a crucial meeting between Sir Alex, Moyes and Giggs today and the future of Rooney was discussed and the news are suggesting he may stay please log in to view this image http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...-Moyes-Ryan-Giggs-meet-over-Wayne-Rooney.html
Sorry but from that article it sounds like they haven't got a clue what was being discussed! All they know is that there was a meeting between them of some kind. Rooney may or may not have been discussed but its the sun trying to make a story out of nothing really.
I don't understand why Rooney is getting so much stick. If he wants to leave then let him leave. No problem. He's given us 8 years, albeit he's been very well paid for it but he's still given us 8 years and contributed to various trophies. If he stays then as long as his hearts in it then that's great. However if he goes, then thanks for the memories.
This. It's not like he's doing a Torres and demanding a move on the last day of the window. Or doing a Nasri and just saying that it is all about the money and nothing else. Like I said in another thread, it must be hard for the highest profile English footballer to spend eight years as one of the biggest names at the highest profile English club with expectations that much higher. If he can't handle it then off he goes, thanks for the memories. Utd will go on with or without him. And like you say Eric, if his heart's not in it then he should leave. Better that than stick around like Bogarde did at Chelsea, stealing his wages whilst doing nothing for the club.
BBC : Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has tweeted: "Wayne Rooney was offered to Barcelona and Real Madrid and both have decided he is not the player they need." Looks like Chelsea or City then
I don't agree with the booing of any of our own players per se, but I can't really blame people. If Rooney wants to leave then fair enough, teams decide they want loyal players to leave all the time and no one criticises them. But could he not have waited till the end of the season?
I can see why they would boo, although I don't think the situation is particularly clear regarding whether Rooney actually wants to go, or SAF has just decided he isn't committed, fit and useful enough any more a la Stam, Beckham, Ince etc. Rooney hasn't helped the situation by looking so damn sulky and disinterested, but then he's never been the happiest looking camper on the team.
This highlights the problem that you might face offloading him. As with his wage packet there's only a handful that could afford him & his stock isn't exactly sky high at present. PSG would seem the most obvious I suppose. I doubt Chelsea would want him, City might, dependant on who comes in.
I think City and Chelsea would be interested because not only would he improve their teams but it would also weaken ours. They would see it as getting one over us. I never actually thought though that Madrid or Barca would be interested in him. Been busy at work mate but I've been popping on every now and then
