Yep. My thoughts:

[nsfw]Theon's probably suffered enough, and so have I. Please no more gruesome torture.

I desperately wanted to know what was happening to Arya after she ran off and the Hound caught her, but there was disappointingly little time for her story in this episode.

The more menacing Dany becomes, the more aroused I get. The dragons are looking awesome.

Joffrey being talked down to by Tywin was fun to watch. Tywin underestimating Dany was even more fun.

Still don't give a **** about Bran or any of his companions.

A bear fight? Seriously? Jaime's story is awesome right now though.[/nsfw]

 

I suppose I can take solace from the fact that they're not related in real life.

Want to find who Theon's torturer is, but there's a limit on how ill I want to feel watching it.

Arya is starting to scare me. "Who's your god then?" "...death."

Bran can die for all I care, hopefully he finds Jon who straight up murders him.

[nsfw]Arya got the whole god of death thing from Syrio Forel, and we know he is/was a good guy so it's all cool (I'm expecting him to show up again as well. We never saw him die). She's eventually going to get her revenge and it's going to be awesome. I just know it.[/nsfw]

Well I did say January-February time I expected Mancini to go.

 

So that was, er, interesting.

I liked the opening credits scene, that's pretty cool. As for the rest of it, it seemed okay but I guess with the opening episode it's really very much just setting the scene.

But just to check I got everything (spoilers below, but I presume everyone has seen this episode):

- Some dudes get killed by some Whitewalkers(?), one escapes and gets excecuted
- The king came to visit Sean Bean's castle with his queen and there was a feast there
- Meanwhile Lucius Malfoy married off his sister to some guy with lots of tattos and is planning on retaking the throne
- Some guy called John gets killed but apparently he was murdered and the king is also in danger
- The queen's having an affair with someone (don't know characters well enough to know their names yet).

Is that about right? Problem with streaming is that the sound can be a bit dodgy.

 

Strangely I feel quite sorry for him.

 

[nsfw]Someone I know presented the idea that Syrio Forel could be Jaqen H'Ghar, that'd be awesome. And I took the god of death thing to be way more sinister than simply taking it from Syrio - it seemed to be the whole idea of the only thing she's seen in her young life is death and it's changing her.[/nsfw]

 

Have you seem any of the previous seasons or are you starting from season 3? It'll be very hard to follow if you're starting with the latest episodes.

- Yep. The tattooed guy is Khal Drogo, leader of the Dothraki people, who Viserys (blondie) is planning to use as an army to capture the throne (the old, murdered King is his and Daenerys, the blonde girl's father)
- Jon Arryn, he was the King's Hand, also brother in law (I think) to Sean Bean's wife.
- An affair with her brother Jaime (pronounced Jamie).[/nsfw]

She's obsessed with getting her revenge. I don't think it'll turn her evil at all, but she will kill some peeps. Hopefully she and the Hound will make up though, because he only killed her friend because he was ordered to, and he seems like he's not all bad.[/nsfw]

 

[nsfw]Let's hope so. Or just hope for a return of Jaqen because that guy kicks arse.

Yeah the Hound isn't that bad, he just likes killing people. He saved Sansa for no real reason back in King's Landing so he's surely not all out against the Starks. But no, I don't think she'll be evil, just very cold. Less of the lovable little sister type she's been so far, more of a scary ice bitch.[/nsfw]
