Christ if we cannot pay a player to leave Hartlepool we are up **** creek. Steve Philiphs not a problem but christ we cannot buy a Hartlepool player how times have changed.
Are we not getting a bit carried away about the rumours and that's what they are. Simply rumours that may or may not have any foundation whatsoever. The more we react like this, the more unfounded and wildly innacurate rumours will be posted by those who wish to spread discontent among us. I suspect that Messrs Burt and O'Driscoll have kept their options and who they would like to recruit, very close to themselves at this early stage of the summer.
Where are the rumours strong? On web sites that specialise in rumours? We are trying to make mountains out of the molehills of someones imagination. And criticising our club about unfounded rumours is unfair. If the club say nothing about such rumours, they are damned, just as they will be if they do comment. So let's all keep calm about it.
