I'm shocked that Vetch hasn't seen Star Wars !!! Basically Yoda is a green little bloke who's the top bloke in the Jedi. They are the good guys and Yoda is the most wise and respected. He's on the mobile phone advert at the moment the one with that bird on the train if that helps. It is a compliment Vetch I don't think anyone thinks you're a green alien with a face like 90yr olds tits Phil, good idea bit the mods can't be here 24 hrs and some of the ridiculous posts wouldn't be deleted straight away.
This is exactly why I don't post here much anymore and I'm guessing that applies to others too. It's just the same old thing and it's getting tiresome. I used to come on here regular to discuss all things Swans, and enjoy the banter on here, but now it's just effort to check in on any posts here when they usually descend into chaos over the same old ****. This forum should be an escape from the daily grind to discuss our common interest. Instead it's just turns into added stress whenever I log on
I just looked up Yoda on wiki,and he looks like an O.K. guy,so no probs. My ears are bigger though,and he's a tad better looking,but most people are. But I'm taller. I've not seen any Star Wars films. Did I miss something?
If everybody he annoys put him on their ignore list then it is problem solved, surely? I just can't see the bloke continuing if nobody can see his posts to reply to, I'd imagine he would quickly get bored.
I don't read his garbage Libertarian, I actually laugh at it! but I don't like seeing thread after thread descend into utter dross, and removing posts that are garbage is there for a purpose by this forum, and has nothing to do with setting a precedent, as you are trying to imply, and there is no slippery slope, just effective moderating. I moderated on this site for some 12 months, and never banned any Jack, but from experience I found that removing garbage posts, and nipping these issues in the bud, was very effective, and for what it's worth, it's my view of how to handle issues of this sort. I'm more concerned for those good posters that are frustrated and decide to leave, because of Dai's stubbornness, than I am for Dai at this moment in time....................

Dilli we have 4 mods, surely that covers most of the time on here! All they have to do is monitor Dai's posts through his profile, and remove his garbage, he'll soon get the message, all we need is some coordination from our Mods, and problem solved!......

Ok my viewpoint - we did well against the side they put out - that's all we can do. It doesn't matter that we put out a reserve side against the 'pool - the record shows we Swansea City, got hammered. As far as Dai is concerned - if he would substantiate any of his FACTS I don't think anyone would have a complaint but he just comes on here and spouts either something that has been written elsewhere, the obvious or drivel. As far as the PC concern that it's a slippery slope- it would be if Dai's banning wasn't warranted but add name calling to the above- I don't think he realises that Never IS a Mod- and sorry but it is deserved. go leafs go!

It's been tried Libertarian, and it's has not worked, because not all can do that, I can, and perhaps you can, though you failed miserable one time I can recall, so rather than see thread after thread descend into Dai's abyss, I think our moderators need to remove the posts, nothing wrong with that at all, and it's there for a purpose!.................
I have added him now to my ignore list, we can't do more than remind the peeps the function is there for a reason.
Well Vetch! (Sorry but 'Libxxxxx' is to long winded), I agree, and Dai has no effect on me whatsoever, matter of fact I find the whole subject to be very entertaining, and if I'm being selfish, couldn't care less! but I'm concerned for this forum, and those good posters that are getting really fed up, with all this, and it comes to something, when posters like Ivor flip, and give him a good mouthful, and that's the problem, Dai never knows when to stop, so it's my view that our mods need to remove his posts that are designed to disrupt, that way we can have our forum back. I have personally stepped back from all this, as I could make the problem a hell of a lot worse, by winding Dai up a treat, and he'll simply take it out on the forum even more!................
I've had him on ignore but everyone else kicking off negates that. SA9 is yet another poster that has stated he stays away because of Dai. How many more must it be before something's done. Phil you know yourself that FFS stays away because of him too. After repeated requests and warnings nothing has changed, he will not stop. Even bans don't work. If the mods had a poll asking who's had enough I don't think Dai would get much support
Anyway lads that's my pennies worth, I'm off now to do some DaiSwan on the Kairdiff board, there's one numpty over there by the name of OldSparkey that needs my attention!............
What I find particularly distasteful about the demands that Dai's posts be removed,is that I don't ever remember seeing the same demands being made to remove any of aber's posts,and most of his were clearly of an anti Swansea nature,not to mention all the violence he advocated. It's called double standards. If you are reading this you now know what to do Dai. Start taking drugs;go whack some pensioners in Penclawdd;brag about it,and just keep on slagging off the Swans' team and management. That's the key to success here.
