I want him to have his say, If he actually believes what he is saying is correct and not just spouting off to wind people up. It is no coincidence that around 90% of his post are against what most people think. Now I have no problem with him having opposing views, but it cant be that often that he disagrees with everyone or can it.
I don't have a problem with him being a lone voice,or even talking nonsense. If that is what he wants,then just let him be. Dai has been around long enough,so everyone should be familiar with his style by now. A bit more tolerance would make the forum a better place,I think.
Sorry Vetch but we will have to agree to disagree. Why should there be any allowances for any one person? For me the alarm bells rang when Ivor who we know is a calm customer blew a gasket with him. Then Swimaway confirms that he left the forum because of him, FFS has gone too because of him and now we have Neveroff a mod who doesn't say boo to a goose blowing his stack with him. When must it stop ? He's crossed so many lines. He had a week ban and the forum was great now it's back to normal with him starting arguements and insulting posters. Some people will never learn and it looks like he's one. Nothing works, this will go on and on and on and he will drive everyone away. If the mods ban him he has only got himself to blame.
I have to admit it is starting to grate on me now and all it will cause is issues and people leaving. I came on here because there seemed to be good honest debate and it was good. I didnt come on here to listen to one of our own wumming for the sake of a wind up. lately it has got unbearable. Maybe i should just ignore it. But it is now getting tedious to the extreme.
I also "blew a gasket" with him, last year,sometime. I had the temerity to query one of his offerings and he inferred that I was not on the same intellectual planet as he was. A red mist descended and I insulted him.I shouldn't have reacted to him. I had nothing to prove intellectually,but he won out,because I reacted. This is what he wants. Soon afterwards,I realised what a dick I had been to respond to him,and apologised to everyone for my brief outburst. Dai is what Dai is. He will never change,so either live with him,or leave,simple as that. Getting so worked up over him just isn't worth it. What do you do with village idiots? They have to be accommodated.
But do they though ? That's the difference, you and I can disagree on a subject and we don't insult each other. I'm afraid that's not the case with Dai and he does resort to those tactics.
Dai reacts to the criticism he gets for most of his posts by insulting his detractors. He is incapable of doing otherwise. Intelligent people react in a different way,and attempt a more reasoned approach. If that approach fails then the best remedy is to ignore him. It works,believe me. I tend not to read his offerings now. Just look at all the energy that is expended in discussing him. He is not harmed by it,but the expender of the energy certainly is.
Ok, so as mentioned above dai is a WUM , what normally happens when we Get guys wumming on here? Banned right? Be them from Cardiff ,Liverpool or where ever . So why is There special treatment for daiswan? He has been Asked to debate his points of view and refused, if your not prepared to debate anything what is the joy of a forum like this ? Myself and many others take the time to post articles to create debate, but he doesnt part take in any of that he just comes up with the most negative comments and refuses to back anything up withany form of Logic ! If we Arnt dealing in debate or Even Logic then what Are we dealing with? Many posters like myself have decided that if he wants to act like a fool then he can be treated like one too! If you Asked a 1000 people did man utd field a weakened team 999 would say no! So, does he beleive what he says? Of course not, he is doing it for effect right ? If he is doing for effect then he isnt entering into the spirit of this forum and is then classed as a WUM , what is the policy on wumming on. Our board? A ban . If we all agree that the colour is white but someone Else thinks its black do we respect his view Even though he wrong or do we educate him and tell him he is wrong ? There is a difference to someone who airs a different opinion, and one who keeps ramming it down your throat in every thread. When asked why he has said opinion, he gives us nothing, I am still waiting for a response from him in another thread. They are not opinions to create debate, they are opinions to wind people up. And if you cannot see that then you need to step off the merry go round for a second, and actually watch it. So sorry, I stand by what I said that those who think he should be allowed to continue to post such crap at every turn, just because its "his opinion" are PC. Because yes he should be entitled to his opinion, when its to create debate, not wum. Ah well mods, lets unban all the Cardiff wums and leave them have their say.

Why do we need to accommodate one poster at the risk of losing many more because of his inane ramblings .I'm all for debate but thats impossible with him ,as previously posted many times , ask a reasonable question and silence .He's a wum ,not only on here but on many other forums .What he does on other forums is his business but what he does on here is ours and it really needs sorting now .I didn't post on here for awhile (i'll let other judge whether my absence was noticed ) due to his ability to derail threads and create friction , too many others have left because of the bitching ,do we want to lose more ?
Well what a surprise again! As you now I've always defended Dai or any poster for that matter, to have the right to his view, and I still hold to that, even where Dai is concerned, but and it's a big but, Dai is definitely on a crusade of late to cause mayhem, and I'm not defending him on that, it's ok for those who are hardly on here to take the moral high ground, in favour of Dai, as they don't have to read his garbage on a daily basis, but the rest of us do, so I have come to the conclusion that our mods need to be more active in removing his posts that are simply designed to ruin threads, that way he will eventualy get fed up, and will have to debate sensibly, which he is fully capable of. I'm not in favour of banning Dai, or any Jack poster for that matter, but I am in favour of his ridiculous posts being removed, and I refer you all back to the old BBC 606 where we had the advantage of deleting posts on our own threads, that where going off topic, it stopped issues such as Dai's of recent months. Of course on Not606 we as posters do not have the facility here to delete posts that go off topic or are designed to wum and cause mayhem, so that is why I feel that our Mods should step up to the plate and actively remove these stupid posts of Dai's that are deliberately designed to throw genuine footy debate of course, that way Dai will soon get fed up of his wums being removed, and will either have to contribute properly or clear off, but at least those of us who have had enough of his nonsense can't be accused of ganging up on him, and giving him, and his supporters the moral high ground!..................
By the way Dai has been getting plenty of support from the Bluetits, if any off you hadn't noticed, and they have been giving it big regarding our board being a dictatorship, and that we are hounding Dai, but of course they would say that, as Dai isn't derailing threads on their board, so I've taken the liberty these last few weeks to do some of Dai's wumming and thread derailment on there board to see how they liked it, and surprise, surprise, they don't like it one bit, matter of fact they have closed down one of my threads, and threatened to ban me, so in short lets take the wind out of Dai's sails, and then his gallery will collapse!....................

Banning,and/or removal of posts sets a precedent which anyone can then invoke if/when it suits. Slippery slope stuff,in my opinion. Many threads get sidetracked/go off topic,and are not Dai's fault. So,how do we deal with those? How many people have been banned,or had their posts removed? The answer is NONE. As I see it,and I'm not a supporter of Dai,merely of his right to post/be different,there is still a vendetta against him,since he is the only poster who gets treated the way he is.
