So I know we previously had a thread when the whole "£100 off" thing was publicised, but wanted to get people's opinions on what I've only really found out about it all since. Me and my dad have season tickets for the 67 Club in the Jock Stein stand. First year we've done the whole posh seats thing, but it's been worth it for the likes of the champions league games, and the ability to have a couple of pints at the game, whilst also being able to sit in there and let all the traffic disappear before leaving. Anyways, the woman Margaret who runs this section told us on Saturday that the 67 club is being turned into an access for all bar next season, "like a Bairds bar but in the ground" was her description, so every **** is being moved into the North stand instead. As a gesture for having to move, they are knocking £200 of the price of the season ticket. Noble gesture you would think, until they tell you the North stand equivalent tickets are £300 more expensive, and that they can't seat any more than 4 people from the one group together, due to lack of space... She also said the top tier of the Lisbon Lions stand would be closed next season, as its not worth the stewarding costs for Celtic to keep it open for league games. So I think next season we'll be going back to our normal seats, and just getting a beer before and after the game at this new "Celtic Pub" in the ground. So are Celtic not shooting themselves in the foot with all these changes? Or do you guys think this makes sense?
First I've heard of it. Some of my family are in the north stand and knocking the £100 off the price suits them. You got a link to the info you mentioned?
You are a fanny for going to the posh seats, the type of people who should not attend football games at Celtic Park. What kind of Celtic fan thinks they can pay extra for privligies? You are a hun!
it's only the lower north stand that has the problem with seating large group as its the most popular thay could get seats elsewhere easily. If everyone wants the same seat its hardly the clubs fault.
