Don't know about everyone else but I don't really rate Benzema, would much rather just give Hernandez more game time and promote a youth player such as Henriquez to fill the 4th striker spot should Rooney leave.

Im with you on that one mate, Benzema has the odd good game but that's it, Hernandez is tried and tested and he always gives 100%
Thinking about it a bit more, having only RVP, Hernandez and Welbeck as currently recognised first team strikers may leave us a bit light up top if the younger players can't make the step up but surely there will be a cheaper option than Benzema to play as a 3rd/4th choice striker. Or Kagawa can get pushed higher up too and play behind RVP in the Rooney role...
Agree with you there about Benzema. I wouldn't mind grabbing Lewandowski if Rooney leaves though. I do wonder if Kagawa was signed to either push Rooney harder or to even replace him.

Just wonder if he's going to be a one season wonder though. Everything depends on how Moyes gets us playing. If we're only going to play with one out and out striker then there is no need for another striker. If we stick with a 442 then we'll need someone to compete with Hernandez for the 2nd spot.
We have been linked in recent time to Benfica's Garay, Matic and Gaitan, from what im seeing tonight add Rodrigo to that and I will take all four, Chelsea outplayed all over the place so far.
At the end of the first half they mention about Garay had joined United for nxt season I had heard that a while back, anybody heard out on it?. Wouldn't surprise me as we are good at keeping secrets so he's probably got his squad number already
