No. He asked me before the announcement was made (last Wednesday) if I'd got my info from the internet or my mate
I knew Monday evening when Brendan Rodgers called me to discuss Norris and Rita's fallout on Coronation Street. Brendan thought Norris was in the wrong.
Guys, I've got it on good authority that Rooney put in a transfer request which is why he wasn't in the squad for the game against Swansea. I can't reveal my sources but trust me, they're in the know, they got this info from Sir Alex himself.
I had homemade tuna nicoise salad for lunch(honestly) ...... but this was probably leaked earlier via RHC's source!
I find it very, very hard to believe Fergie would slander Rooney on live television. And also that Rooney has not denied it instantly.
I know and I agree 100%. I guess it'll all come out in the wash. I'm categorically not trying to wind here, by the way.
I'm sure you aren't but this one doesn't ring true at all. I'm still completely swaying one way to the other as to which way I think this will end. I just think he needs to get his head right and bloody well work to get his place in the side back. All this needs to be loved ****e is just bollocks, he got his fat salary so he can earn it as he'll get **** all sympathy from the supporters. If he stays though he'll get support, if not then I for one won't shed a tear when he does go as he is not for one second hard done by.
He can't surely get away with this again at United can he? Last time he'd been tapped up by City & it was all about the dosh, this time I'm not so sure what's behind it - but if you kowtow to him again, it sends out the wrong message imo. I can't see him being there come August
Nor can I really. It probably is best he goes now. I'm not really bothered where to either, City and Chelsea would be welcome to him if I'm honest.
