Dai give us some credit FFS! Weak United team? In your dreams! We lost but I came away from the game so proud of the players who battled throughout and came so close to getting a magnificent result! No, strike that, it WAS a magnificent result - we were totally dominant for most of the second half and can feel justifiably aggrieved not to have taken a point at least! So much for 'minds on the beach' - the lads played their hearts out and I will not accept your proposition that United viewed the game as an easy 3 points! Agree with a lot of what you post at times but wonder about your refusal to give the team any credit when they perform as they did today; we were playing the Champions and for not one minute did we look in any way out of our depth - so support the team you say you support, and celebrate our achievements rather than finding any excuse to belittle them!
dai i never go in for slagging off other posters as i believe every one is entitled to their opinion, but in all honesty you really do bring it on yourself, it's hard to have sympathy with you when you come out with such utter garbage

so it was not their strongest side then!.....dont get me wrong we played well and better than of late but we were never going to spoil the script ....laudrup knew that you could see by his reaction on MOD....I would have loved to have won but when you think of the day then there was nothing that united had to play for other than not to lose in Sir Alex farewell game...Like laudrup said they did enough to win.......The could have lost if we had a bit of luck as they never got out of 3rd gear for most of the game and it wasn't until michu scored that fantastic equalizer that they upped their game and made sure of the win.....
Dai, i'm not part of any clique and i'm not ganging up on you. i've expressed an opinion, that your original post was "utter garbage" and a belief that a lot of the recent woes you have on this board, you bring upon yourself when you post such comments. it's not something i say lightly as for many years i've enjoyed your comments and banter, however i believe the sole aim of your original posting on this thread was to wind up fellow jacks after our heroic second half performance yesterday and i find that sad, not fun. just my opinion, not a fact, take it as you see fit.
