If I had started on the front row and was plummeting down the order out of the points and overtaken by a car that hadn't made it past Q1 as the car was just losing time, I'd be a bit pissed off too. Bahrain, Hamilton showed Rosberg how to be good with tyres when driving a Merc, Barcelona it was the other way around. Hamilton was frustrated as he didn't know why he was doing so badly. The only surprise is that based on the last few years, its taken 5 races for the Merc to show its real tyre eating capability.
Just come out and say you laughed your head off about it. No one would actually mind as you'd have reason to do it. Honesty is more admired on hear than thinly disguised digs.
Everyone would be pissed off in that scenario, but he is a professional in the public eye. Just no need for it.
I don't see anything wrong with anything either Jenson or Lewis said today. Emotions are high in this sport and that means there will also be lows. I think they both gave an honest appraisal of the situation in their interviews. Lewis's radio comment about being passed by the Williams weren't respectful or helpful to the team, but they were understandable given how much slower the Williams is and how frustrating his entire race must have been.
Personally I think if a driver's primary concern during a race is his public image then his mindset's all wrong. Any driver worth their salt gets pissed off when things are going badly, they're racers not politicians.

I don't see when Hamilton is driving ****, that I have to keep my mouth shut. When I have an opinion on it, I should be able to express it, why are they called "small digs" They are my ****ing opinions on a forum. For three years Schumacher took **** from most users on here, even for the smallest of things, I defended him for a while and then started to take it on the chin because I realised I was a minority. But I still get things like this, And get expected to just keep my mouth shut. So really it's shut up or be positive about Hamilton then? I'd rather not go all out on Hamilton because believe it or not I understand and respect the sensitivity of users on here to him, so I keep it short whereas I am expressing my opinion but not too harshly. I remember when Schumacher crashed here a year ago, and then people were calling him a "****", and to "have his head". If you are happy that I want to go all out, I will. 1) Hamilton was **** this weekend. 2) He whines like a baby nearly every issue he has, and taking the piss out of Williams really did show the world what a clown he is. 3) Lacks a vast amount of professionalism. 4) His teammate has outshone him, and mulled fans expectations of him so far. 5) He is just another JPM, a reasonably quick shouty man with a lack of team cohesion. 6) He had the use of team orders in Malaysia didn't he? But it was the anti-christ for Schumacher in Ferrari. 7) If he does win in 2014 it will be from snap changes that other teams cannot adapt to, (so in a way he is just waiting for the next season to come along), not work over many years, something he failed to do in Mclaren. Is that blatant enough for you? He will probably win in Monaco due to the lack of overtaking opportunities, so a parade from pole is what I expect.
