That's the problem with Schmeichel - you get some great saves from him, but they come with a few howlers thrown in too. To me he looks good, but not break-the-bank good.

He isnt worth much, not with one year left on his contract but I also dont think he is worth a bid to be honest. There will be perfectly fine keepers out there that will cost less money.
I don't want him here From what I've heard he is arrogant ,selfish and full of his own self importance. I know for a fact the Leicester squad can't stand him! Wrong sort of player for our dressing room but its hard to deny he's decent.
You've got a point, when he was at Leeds they stayed at my work before the game. Over the course of a day and a half a couple of my colleagues who are Leeds fans thought he was a complete tit. But he did seem popular amongst the other players, most footballers are tossers though so it doesn't change my mind. Stick an offer in and see what happens
Where have I said he will? What he does want is stability though. Why would he sign for you (not a stable Premier League club) with a big chance you'll be relegated the next season? He's a very grounded bloke.
I think everyone in football knows we are the only Club in the Prem desperate for not only one Keeper but two of the friggers . We will most likely pay over the odds for anyone we bring in , I'd be happy to get Schmeichel tho i just dont see it. I expect we will end up with Stockdale but we can definitely and realistically improve on that with either Schmeichel or Mannone
