We've had two 5 game winning runs. 30 points. Aside from that it's relegationish form. 38 points from the other 36 games.
You did seem to have a strange season, im sure non of you will ever understand that bad run you went on, especially after your form before that, really did look like after the Chris Wood signing nobody would touch you.
Celtic wont have the finances to sign any of our better players. They might have been looking to get Michael Keane on loan for next season
Lots of Leicester old boys were their for the play-offs, Walsh, Elliott etc. Let's hope it was just that!
... but not sitting with the owners by the look of it ... I wouldn't draw too much - might just be that this is where visiting managers always get to sit.
NP can go for me tbh, it's not just because we've lost today, after all reaching the PO is a great achievement, it's just that we concede too many late goals, don't seem to be able to cope under pressure and over all don't look up for it a lot if the time. But that's just my humble opinion.
I think Pearson has to go. 16 League defeats, 2 dismal cup exits and a play off loss constitutes a piss poor season to me, especially given the resources at his disposal. He was obviously happy with the squad he had. I wasn't and still aren't. Danns should never have been loaned nor Schlupp at an important time in the season. The team should have pushed on from February but fell apart badly. What were they doing in training during this period? Whatever it was it didn't work. I can't see Lennon coming, unless he is utterly fed up of the sectarian crap he has to put up with in Glasgow. I also can't see O'Neill returning. My choice would be Lee Clark.
Chin-up bud - 12 months is a long time in football - I remember Ian Wilson putting through his own goal to make it 2-0 to Spurs in our last FA Cup Semi - thought my world had ended - 12 months later he scores the goal at Fulham (in front of 8,000 travelling Foxes) that saw us overtake them in the race to promotion ...
Yeah you're right mate, just see a championship that's getting harder and harder and a premier league that seems to be getting a little weaker and with Wigan winning the FA cup I'm just sulking thinking we will never have got a better chance!
Agree with the FF. Can't see them doing badly. But they could well make a poor managerial choice (if they go down it's almost certain Martinez will leave). Their squad worries me out of the teams looking like coming down because I think they can keep hold of the majority of it.
