Well, I wasn't waiting for them to come back out for a round of applause, and now that the dust is settling on the season, a simple summing up.

Today was standard, we are a piss poor ****ing side, we have spent millions on dog ****, and I hope, nay I pray, that this seasons recruitment is along the lines.

Even with the Paolo effect the ****ty long punts straight to the CB's continue, and that is surely players too thick and too average to take orders.

Some of the abuse I heard towards the hard grafting if under talented Graham was shambolic, we must eradicate this scapegoatism if we are to progress as a club.

    Bright spot was again N'Diaye.

Credit to Saints for their numbers, great show for a Sunday at the other end of ground, but quite poor in terms of noise I thought.

Simple terms, same old ****, major changes needed, and a bit more support from us next year if the former happens.

A thoroughly non-plussed lad tonight, I can't comprehend how poor we are overall.

Final point, Mandron was warming up for 77 minutes and never got on, what's the point in that? 77minutes out of 90.

EDIT - No ****ing Balti pies either , utter shambles, that more than anything was a day breaker.

    Haha, he'll be knackered!

Just seems ridiculous that he was warming from that early.

    Missed this, by the way.

Connor Whickham is nowhere near a Premier League footballer, I've backed and backed him, but no, he will not make it.

    Yeah, I said it.

Apart from a handful of players I would chase the ****ing lot (finances allowing). If we do survive I hope PDC doesn't raid relegated teams where many of these useless ****ers came from.

I also agree with your Whickham quote. Apart from one game his shown nothing for his overpaid £8m price tag.

Wen discussed this, and decided to stay....

    Mignolet
    Rose
    JOS
    N'Diaye
    Fletch
    Sess
    Colbaek
    Johnson.

The rest can go for me, although 2 of those, Mig & Rose, are highly unlikely to remain.

I am afraid I disagree. IMO when he has had a chance he has offered or shown very little apart from one game against Championship opponents.

Mate, his first touch is woeful, and his reaction time after his first touch is embarrassing.

He never looks up either, running into blind alleys with the ball, and he doesn't use his size at all.

I don't wanna write him off, but he is ****.

Bruce wasted £8m on an unproven youngster albeit one for the future when the team was screaming out for a proven goal scorer.

To be fair, I was all for it at the time mate, but he hasn't developed, he simply isn't close to the required standard.

I'd snap someones mitten off for £3-4million.

He's been out for 3 weeks and didn't look match fit, he wasn't great today but at least won things in the air for us.

Graham on the other hand spent half the game offside and fluffed another simple chance. He is crap. End of imo.

If Arsenal beat Wigan I would be tempted to give the reserves a runout in the place of Graham, McClan and Bardsley at Spurs. You never know, one of them might make a position their own.

I think Wickham will come good. In the summer I'd move on any high earners (that aren't good), then improve the team, no ****ing point getting rid of a shed load of players our squad is tiny as it is. People like McClean, Bardsley, Larsson, Ceullar etc. can be back up for next season

    Graham should go imo

We need a new cb or two, a rb, a lb (please be rose), a CM, a lw and 2 strikers. We can't move half the squad on and improve the key areas as well, we'd have hardly an players man

To be fair... it takes a run of 5 or 6 matches to really get match fit, as well as tactical awareness and confidence on the ball. Wickham has not had the chance to acquire such experiences so far. BUT ..... he surely chased more effectively, held the ball up better, and knows at least which way to run with the ball when he gets it !!!!!

Now Graham on the other hand ........... :emoticon-0172-mooni...... couldn't hit my arse from 2 feet !!
