Pablo isn't having a bad game. At least he's trying to get involved popping up on the left, the right and the centre. de Guzman, as usual, is just.... there.... somewhere.... I think. If you're looking for liability on the goal, don't look any further than Ash Williams ably assisted by an obvious homer of a referee (I call them cheats). First Williams plays a hospital pass to Taylor of all people then makes a Swansea League class scuffed clearance to present United with their opener. So Pablo is liable how? The free kick was a disgrace. If anything, Welbeck was the more culpable as the commentators pointed out. A drop ball was the fairest decision and it is one of the reasons why I'm glad to see the back of Fergie. Referees, in the main, are too cowardly to officiate fairly at Old Trafford and the character we have today seems to firmly fit in that category. With luck, sides will now get an even break there in future, which might come as something of a shock to the United team. I just hope we don't crumble second half, get stuck into them and play some football. Perhaps Chico can also accidentally/deliberately nut Vidic in the chops to let him know we can do it too: or maybe de Guzman could flap at him with his handbag.
I know Michu has missed some sitters recently but that was a fantastic finish. SAF almost choked on his gum
fantastic goal by michu.....we look to be up for this game.........great atmosphere that i wish i was there....
dont care if we beat them or not, Im more concerned with the display by us playing a top team than anything else and credit when credits due we are doing great for a change and that is what we want to see.....great if we win but not important today....
