    Wigan should be 1 up against City, McManaman putting a great chance wide after cutting inside on his left foot.

    Looks a good player and only 22. Probably would do just as good a job as Downing has done on the right hand side.

    Wigan win the FA cup. Great achievement for such a tiny team and credit to Martinez for managing it. Makes a mockery of Moyes not winning a trophy with Everton in 11 years when Laudrup & Martinez have managed it with smaller budgets & clubs this season.

    Edit: found this nice nugget out today.... Ryo Miyachi, on loan from Arsenal to Wigan...... another player from Arsenal to win a trophy after leaving arsenal ( albeit on loan). <loan>

    Spurs 2-1 up now.

    Everton 1-0 against West Ham

    QPR 1-0 Newcastle after a penalty. That would keep Newcastle on 38 points and still only 3 above Wigan who have 2 to play. Wigan really need to beat Arsenal to make the final weekend and interesting one.
