    The ice cream man gets shot by the gang who eventually lay seige to the precinct. The little lass goes back to the ice cream van when she realises she's got the wrong flavoured ice cream and they shoot her as well.

    In my humble opinion the remake doesn't hold a candle to it, one of the classic films.

    Ah yeah its coming back now. Like I said haven't seen it in many years but I remember it being very good. Turned off the Ethan Hawke version halfway through it was so dire.

    And nah that sort of thing doesn't happen here. We don't have much crime. We still have honesty boxes for flips sake. People put stuff out on hedgerows for sale together with a price and a can to put the money in. People actually take only what they have paid for and leave the money. And the next person passing doesn't nick any of it. Doubt it will last much longer but we are enjoying it whilst it lasts.
