I think he'll have one more crack with us. Judging by the type of character he is, I think it'll feel like a job unfinished if he leaves now. That said, he wouldn't turn down United. Let's just hope they don't come in for him...
I was referring to you recouping the 5m loss earlier in the thread. My point is that his value won't necessarily be as high after failing to get promoted. You wont be pulling the strings with this deal as much as you would have done as a Prem team. He's not that great anyway. Very replaceable.
But we wouldn't have sold him if we got promoted? He's not replaceable. You can't get a goalkeeper like him at this level.
Most of the football world disagrees with you. As do the people that have seen week in, week out for two years. As AKCJ said, we wouldn't sell if we were Prem bound. And we won't now unless we're talking silly money.
