Back in the owld days when my grandad (God rest his soul) used to live down Sharp Street, it was declining really.

It's certainly got a bit of a buzz about it now, and Witham it ain't.

    I like it, personally.

I've seen two full on bar room brawls in Zest.

Granted it wouldn't make it into Hulls top ten dodgy boozers but there are some serf types who frequent the place.

Not being racist but it always appears to be full of North African types whenever I go in.

    I'm confused to **** here.

I think Telstar changed name to Mr Czzz's and Gardeners, Shire and if Dutch is right Nelson were Mr Q's ?

    Does that sound about right?

The back room of Gardeners used to be Mr Qs for a while.

Then it changed back to Gardeners.

They DID used to have 'L' shaped pool tables in there with yellow or red cloths.

This was around the time that Main Even & Turnpike were still open, getting on for 10 years back.

My old stomping ground, all them.
