Well done Wigan - thoroughly deserved victory and particulary pleasing that you put one over on that set of 'plastics'. So nice to see a team win on merit and not one that has purchased the success. As a Saints fan I hope you avoid the drop - but not at our cost!

Got back in from work 10 30 pm here in the USA, watched the game on the DVD, avoided the result all day. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? WOW amazing result and well deserved too. Well done Wigan! You were in the game from the first minute and really put in a great performance. Personally, I thought you would get killed, but you didn't and you should, as I am sure you do, feel very proud of your achievement.
Would be nice if more than 5 Wigan not 606 ers actually read this, not a great following on this site.
On another tack, would this give Everton a greater incentive to go after Roberto Martinez. He said he would never leave Swansea, he did. Leopard never changes his spots. Congratulations again, amazing, fantastic result!

Well done Wigan, Martinez out thought the spagetti muncher in every department, hope you beat the drop, but surely if you can perform like that you would be challenging top six..............good luck, from a happy Leeds fan <ok>

Congratulations from a Charlton fan who was in your end at at Wembley. Listening to the lad behind me say over an over again "Dad I can believe it, Wigan have won the FA Cup" was the highlight of the day for me. Well deserved, you just wanted it more. Always great when an underdog wins, your's is a great FA Cup story. Now stay up!

  7. Congratulations Wigan - well deserved. Pretty much outplayed and outthought Citeh for the 90 minutes.
Must be frustrating to see that level of performance is within the team but doesn't appear consistently enough.

Now please go and get a win against the Goons?????

Many thanks for the good wishes people, woke up after a few hours sleep, just delirious. One of the best days of my life. I was at the Etihad the other week and that game played out like this one, except that they snatched a late winner. This time it seemed to go with performance. Particulary pleased for Callum McManaman getting MOTM - made Clichy look like he had lead in his boots.

Congratulations Wigan on your triumph!! Thoroughly deserved from start to finish!! Hope you go on to stay up too...

Did actually feel for you a bit Tuesday when we won at your place, because you really needed to beat us, but that's football.

Good luck against Arsenal & Villa, make it 3 'cup-final' wins...

Congratulations to Wigan for a fine performance and a well deserved Wembley triumph. However, as a Gooner, I will leave it at that!

Just got to say that what a FANtastic day myself and 30 thousand latics fans had a Wembley had and even if the weather was`nt playing ball the latics team most definitely were with cross from Maloney right into Watson head and a peach of a goal came next and thousand of screaming latics fans followed in dying minutes of the game. but hats of to the city fans on the way back home at the motorway service all were in praise of how way played and congratulated the team on how we played but if we can stay in the prem then that will round of a season to end all seasons.
