Nice to see someone as decent as Roberto Martinez win a major trophy. Not a bad game either actually.

    Yes. Nice to see.

The godmother of my youngest child is a Man City fan. She came to visit last week. . Martin Offiah had personalised plates and always seemed to get in my way.....For those reasons I wouldn't have minded city winning..... I think I don't care.

On balance it is nice to see.

This is how it feels to be City,
This is how it feels to be small,
This is how it feels when your team wins nothing at all, nothing at all!

Well done Wigan, a fully deserved win for the pie-eaters <applause>

Let's hope they show the Manure bottlers a lesson and beat Arsenal (pity they can't do the same against Chelsea)

    Those redcafe hypocrites are pathetic

Why do you keep mentioning Man United on threads about other teams?

And what have we "bottled" exactly? Do you even know what "bottling" means? It means throwing something away which looked likely to happen due to loss of nerve. United looked likely to win the league and we did. So no "bottling" from us. Whereas Tottenham could have qualified for the CL, but they've pissed it away because they're gutless (for the second season running). That's an example of "bottling".

Finally, stop moaning about Redcafe ffs. If you don't like it, don't go on there. It's for United fans anyway.

How many games would that have been though? The most you'll ever really get for a bad tackle is 3 games, as you got with Danny Guthrie vs Hull.

And what has Guthrie got to do with it, who was defending him? For a reckless/malicious challenge the penalty should be you are banned for as long as the person is injured then start your 3 match ban, that should have gone for Guthrie as well.
Meanwhile you see people getting banned on reputation e.g. Tiote straight red vs Stevenage a few years back for one of the most perfectly executes tackles you could wish to see

I`m glad they beat Man City as it proves that an unlimited bankroll doesn`t guarantee success, however i hope Arsenal pump them and they get relegated:grin:

Guthrie is a precedent, and I mentioned him specifically because I thought you'd remember him. Your idea might work, but if they did introduce such a rule, they'd have to do it at the start of the season, they couldn't rush it through mid-season just because a load of Geordies are upset.

You mean when the obsequious Sunderland fans took bum-licking to a new level when they basked in City's reflected glory? Shameful behaviour, but I suppose you'll never have anything to celebrate of your own so I'll let you off <ok>
