Comes across as a really decent bloke. Thought it was good of Platt to wait for Martinez to be free of an embrace before congratulating him. Some would have slapped him on the back and walked off!

Well done to Wigan- absolutely fantastic.

It is difficult not to like Martinez and Whelan in an age dominated by money and controversy. Brilliant. A little bit of life is breathed back into football.


James Milner on the other hand is your absolute nailed on example of why England will not win a World Cup for at least 20 years whilst they rebuild grass roots.
