Also, did anyone see that weasel Holloway being interviewed after the game last night? He clearly has anger problems - he looked quite calm, but in his eyes you could see he was ready to explode. Horrible, nasty little man..

Oh I don't know, w-y - I have a few years more than you under my belt but recognise that situation quite well. I married relatively late in life (in my 30's) after quite a few good years of many such 'relationships'. Maybe it was just a cultural thing in Australian sporting & surfing circles though - where both sexes found it preferable to be with a partner than without, regardless of how 'deep' the relationship was. It was generally accepted that what the two of you made of it was nobody else's business unless you both chose to make it so.

A no hang ups and hassle free existence really - and a great time to have experienced. :emoticon-0105-wink:

It's so much whether they are in a relationship BB, it's the description that I find all confusing - they say what it is NOT, but they don't say what it IS. I think I will give up on it all....I'm lucky that Little Miss W_Y has no one in tow at the moment, as I will be very confused and shirty! That reminds me of a topic for another day <yikes>

BTW - I don't think I am that far behind you in years

Little Miss W_Y is at Wembley today working with the OB crew at the cup-final. She had to be there at 06.00 am as the coverage is 08.00 to 20.00 - how the hell can they find 12 hours of stuff to broadcast? In the old days of a 15.00 kick off, they did the road to Wembley, the teams leaving the hotels, cup-final It's A Knock Out, Abide With Me and then the game....there must be some right old bollocks being broadcast today!

You're right - and this year it's Man City and Wigan. <laugh>

I wonder what the viewing figures will be - wont be on in this household.

    Morning all

Sunny earlier but it's gone very cloudy now. Exercise and shopping all done, so coffee and newspaper will occupy the next hour or so. There was a time when I wouldn't have missed a second of the Cup Final...now there are so many reasons to give it a miss - the time, Mancini, Man City, the PL and in all probability the nature of the game itself. If I knew beforehand that Wigan would win 5-0 I might be persuaded, otherwise I'd rather do the ironing!

I'll send my ironing to you and I'll watch the match on your behalf! Goodness me, ANYTHING is better than ironing!

Evening all just completed a 14 mile stroll in the wrong footwear, nasty blisters... fund raising for our Bhopal trip in August. Thank you sponsors :)

But the question is ... will I be able to hobble from the Junction to the Vic tomorrow? Of course ! If it means hobbling all the way.

Mme Yorkie has very kindly agreed to drive to the train station for the 6.40 train in the morning. I have to go via Manchester...

    COYH!!!!!
