The polls are open on the club website. They close on Friday 3rd June, so hurry, hurry, hurry.

I'm voting Carlos Salcido for player of the year and John Pantsil (Liverpool away) for goal of the season. Do you think they're in with a shout?

Cheers Captain like your style, I had to go for Bairds 1st against stoke as G.O.T.S (lovely strike) and Dempsey a P.O.T.S

I was tempted by Simon Davies against West Brom, but plumped for Dembele against Spurs, with Dempsey as POTS. It was either him or Eddie Johnson...

Haha that comment did make me laugh commodore. I voted for Aaron hughes as player of the year and haven't voted for the goal, though am strongly tempted by etuhu's against blackpool, a lovely team move.

There were a couple of great strikes, individual and team goals, hard choice to pick one...

Surprising, as we hardly ever score goals of real quality. Sidwell's goal was probably the best, but the goal was meaningless as the game was already over. Baird's first goal meant an awful lot and gave us the momentun to turn our season and away record around. Also, let's remember that Baird is a defender and doesn't practice shooting an awful lot I wouldn't imagine, so for him to score from that sort of distance was something special.

Not the best goal, but most certainly the most important.

Best player? So many candidates. Baird, Dempsey, Hangeland, Hughes, Murphy have all been outstanding, whereas Zamora, Duff, Dembele and Davies have all chipped in with their contribution too. I'd go for Demps purely based on the amount of goals he scored in Zamora's absence. We needed someone to step up and he did just that.

I thought Baird's goals were quality, especially the first (which got my vote), and they were season changers.

Similarly, I voted for BZ as player as his return marked such a change too.

I haven't watched the goals of the season yet but player of the season is tricky. Before the two fingered business I would have gone for Baird. Dempsey has been terrific in the way he stepped up but sometimes his attitude hasn't been great. I agree that Bobby changed the season when he came back but to vote for him when there are others who played week in week out for the whole season seems unfair. I'm edging towards Hangeland - great defensive work and our second highest goald scorer.

I'm not sure though. I'll have to keep thinking...

    Player:
    1) Dempsey - His goals were just essential. (Warning - I voted for my man Gera last year and then he doesn't play)
    2) Baird - Has covered left, right and elsewhere to keep us going.
    3) Hughes - Lives in Brede's shadow, but just so realiable.
    Goal:
    1) Baird - Great goal and a change point for the season
    2) Davies - Well taken.
    3) Hangeland - I love his headed goals, and double the value against ManU.

Duff = both were first goals against his old clubs and netted me a decent return in winnings.

    Well done to Clint Dempsey.
Surprised that Moussa won the GOTY - Thought Baird would have it.
