Speculate to accumulate Punchestown 2pm Grand Jesture 2.35 Fergiethelegend 3.35 Toostrong 4.20 Felix Yonger Haydock 3.30 Local Hero 4.40 Conquisto
Thats a very topical choice Bob in the 2.35pm at Punchestown bearing in mind the weeks events.. sure to be popular just cause of the name!
Lily's Angel 3/1 4.00 Lingfield Should prove very difficult to beat tomorrow having won comfortably at Kempton lto. Slight concern she has put her best foot forward on the all weather lately but she has ran well on turf before and if she's in the mood she will win this race tomorrow.
Its FA Cup day so not too bothered about the racing. Cant resist a dabble though in the Victoria Cup at Ascot. Bit of a lottery but I really like the look of Dream Tune. e.w 5 places Dream Tune was 5th on his seasonal reappareance at Newbury last time out over 1M and I think he will be more effective over 7f tomorrow. He has previously finished 5th over C&D last October from a poor draw and he's off the same mark tomorrow (91). Talented claimer Ryan Tate takes the ride and he takes a further 5lb off his back so he'll do for me. Might have a small each way bet on Fergiethelegend - just for the craick.... on quick glance he has an outstanding chance to me. Very tempting!!
don't know weather to back JETSON in the handicap or not MIDNIGHT APPEAL looks a good each way bet @16/1 in the same race 1st race at HAY............................. but i will back Mr MOLE 8/1 15.30 HAY
Morning gents Feel today is the day that Jetson rewards his loyal fans after going close at Cheltenham and Aintree, would've been happy with someone else in the saddle doing the steering but I guess we get our claimer which I'll take. Competitive for sure but 7/1 is fair for this boy and im bullish about a big run. Regards
Much fare on offer as usual-- many competitive handicaps, but i think after scanning all the races, i am going to put up Secret City in the 6 15 at Thirsk. Seems to be following same pattern as last years success, has done all his winning, at two very similar tracks, Redcar and Thirsk-- doesnt mind ground, so rain would be fine, has the excellent F Tylicki in the saddle and crucially Robin Bastiman's team are in good from , at 6/1 seems a fine bet. good luck to all-
VASILY 3.25 lingfield 4/1 would be my pick today ran well LTO at Epsom before just getting caught today's the day to make the winners enclosure IMO thoughts welcome guys GL if you play
Over a year ago Darley bred and Sheikh Mo owned Mexicali won, eased down, with a subsequent Group 1 scorer in 2nd. I have no idea what the deal is with this one but now with Dean Ivory and in the 2.05 at Ascot today - 28/1 off a mark of 84. Has to be worth an e/w snifter.
Hello lads. I remember connections of Fergiethelegend having a good old punt a few runs back only for Andy Mac to fall off when the tapes went up. Serves them right for christening the poor beast with such a ridiculous name! GL with it today..definite chance.
3.30 Haydock Barizan Seems to finally be getting back to the level of form he showed as a juvenile. Good ground shouldn't be an issue and ran extremely well in the imperial cup last time. Been backed from 20/1 into 12/1 and worth an each way bet
Morning all. Today's lucky 15. 2-05,Ascot= Maria's Choice. 2-20,Ling= Heroine Required. 2-55,Ling= Nevis. 4-00,Ling= Ultrasonic. (Nap) Small wager on, Maria's Choice, Duke Cosimo & Ultrasonic treble. Good luck to all.
1.50 Haydock HOLLOW TREE 18/1 e.w Admirable little horse who struggled in the winter conditions of the NH scene but who gets good ground this afternoon. He comes here off the back of two promising runs, especially last time out at Aintree and I think Haydock is a definite front runners track. Whether he will last home for win purposes I'm not sure, but I am really hopeful he can ask serious questions of this lineup and he has dropped to a very tempting 132. He had plenty on the stretch at Aintree last time and hopefully he will have a slightly easier time of it up front this time, which will help him get a rhythm and hopefully save a bit in the tank for that last half mile. 3.30 Haydock: Specialagent Alfie e/w 16/1 This strikes me as a horse on the upgrade and who has run good races in defeat- better than he gets credit for. This is probably his biggest race of the season and he has been campaigned sensibly leading upto this, so he could be one from under the radar and land a valuable prize for one of racings so -called lesser lights. Will enjoy good ground and is at the right end of the handicap. His form behind Court Minstrel is very solid.
