As our board seems to be attracting the Binners in numbers I thought I'd post a thread for them to relate to: As Ipsquit have had and got a manager who don't seem to be the best of mates, Roy Keane & Mick McCarthy, who would win in a fist fight? My £1 is on Mighty Mick!
Now then JWM, why have you brought Hughton into this??? **** me, I post a thread for you, and you just have to bring ***** into it!!!!! <fingerwaggingnaughtyboy>
Thinking about it we haven't had many hard players in recent history have we? You'd not want to mess with Leon McKenziie due to his inherant talent with boxing gloves and excellent family ties in that area but you wouldn't be particularly nervous in a bar room brawl at the NCFC Christmas party would you?
Justin Fashanu (RIP) was an ex boxer..... We haven't had that many hatchet men, but big Dunc was the best ......
How about this for a defensive line up: Billy Baxter, Allan Hunter, Kevin Beattie, Derek "Chopper" Jefferson all as hard as nails Big Duncan Forbes was a hard bastard as well, we used to have some crunching EA Derbies when Bobby and Bondy were in charge!
In a genuine answer, Keane would murder McCarthy! His family background is pure and proper irish pikey which means he probably had some bare knuckle action when he was a young'un. Seriously McCarthy wouldnt have a snowballs chance in hell vs Keane
For us, Gary Holt was ex army wasnt he? I know as a chef but they still get training (hence his immense stamina). Malkey would be a tough guy to match in a scrap.
Delia looked a bit fierce after a couple of sherberts that night against Man City. Justin Fashanu was hard but had been beaten around the ring too often. Trevor Hockey is my choice. He could bruise fresh air!
Don't forget Willie Young played for us (or rather chopped people down for us) the most violent Norwich City career I can remember!
