Ferrari have this sewn up I think. Mercedes look fast but probably won't be able to stop their tyres falling apart as usual. Red Bull might as well have sat the session out from all you can read into their performance, I think they'll be just behind along with Lotus, scrapping to make it onto the podium.
If Ferrari can finally qualify well they are in very good shape. They are always very fast off the line so will keep or improve their starting position and once you're at the front its easier to look after your tyres
AG, I am going to be honest, since about yesterday all I have ****ing heard about is this guy and his pissing dog. Even in Practice two minutes of my time was used to learn from a discussion that a DOG was coming to a grand prix, I learnt it's breed and name. Not only that, on the BBC website a link is dedicated to mentioning Lewis and his dog. So to see a picture of the two on here is really starting to agitate my ****ing mind, post something productive please.
Great work by Gonzales, only 8 tenths off the Red Bulls! Sorry that should go in the "Unlikely Things to Hear/See in Formula 1" thread
Lol, Roscoe's going end up getting his own tv show, although I have to admit it is rather tabloid like to be reporting his every movement. Does not help that there was nothing of any interest in that first session.
This afternoon's second Practice session will be a far better indicator of where the teams and their respective drivers stand. However, it is pretty clear that Ferrari are looking reasonably good, despite the fact that they felt a need to perform for the fans in P1â¦
I was thinking the same thing. Is he genuinely happier now or have his people been coaching him to almost smile? Either way, it's nice to see.
