So I am happy to admit that I started following Norwich properly whilst we were in League 1, so don't have an extensive knowledge of players we have taken on loan. But who are the best? In the last few years I have liked Lansbury and Pacheco, however I think Kamara was special in the way he captured the fans off the field too. Who do you think was the best loan player we have had?
Naughton is a great shout. We miss him a lot, hope we try to sign him in the summer. Assou-Ekotto will be fit again at Spurs and he may be looking to move on.
no contest, Hucks by a mile. plus his loan showed him what a great club we are and made his mind up to join us permanently.
really interesting. obviously knew about hucks but didnt know he was loan first. Also when you look at some of the amazing players we have had. Obviously a club trusted with some good talent. Keep em coming!
I don't personally count Russell martin, because it was a loan to buy, we'd already agreed to buy in december but they just loaned us him until January 1st when the full transfer was put through. Same with Leon barnett if i remember right. I do think Kyle Naughton was a very useful loanee though definitely helped us out. Not sure Harry Kane is going to feature too heavily in this discussion
