According to reports today we're chasing him. I wrote a post last year on here about him and the feedback was negative. Not a big fan personally but I'll back him if he's here! Look at the Scottish League - Anthony Stokes can score for fun up there - yet failed miserably down here - says it all for me
Certainly a risk, as the Scottish league is so different, but like marcus, he will have my full backing if he was to come here.
Not for me, every team bar Celtic are league one standard at best and he'd be way over priced. Id dare say Adam Le Fondre is better and would cost half the price.
Yes, I tend to agree with you. It's not even a two horse race up there now ffs. No way for £7m, maybe 2 at a push.
I was thinking no but then you look at his record and the type of player he is and I am starting to think yes. Remember were never going to be able to afford or attract anyone with a decent track record in a top division. When you look at this lads record he has improved and stepped up as his career has progressed. He is still quite young too. Remember everyone said Phillips would not make the step up to the premier league but he certainly did. He is the type of player we need, someone who can play of Fletcher, Graham or Wickham. If his name was hoodiniho and he was a from some exotic country everyone would want him.
Just a typical Agent trying to get force a move to the prem and lazy jornos taking the bait. No thanks from me.
