Didn't know he had a museum . Must admit he was not my favourite , but that clip with him and Arnoux is legend IMHO .

Having said he was not my favourite , much better man than his son IMHO .

So watched another episode of Revolution.

[NSFW]Maggie died which was rather sad, I quite liked her. Lots of plot twists though, only just realised that that woman was Charlie/Dan's mother. Also, a major part of the where the episode took place was a town which is dominated by a rollercoaster, reminded me very much of that town in Fallout: New Vegas I can't remember the name of[/NSFW]

Also, just out of interest do you guys think I've ruined my friendship with the girl in question?

Probably not. Leave it for a while though, stop trying so hard to force everything to be okay. But to be honest, if you're just gonna be harbouring secret desires for her for months to come, you might be best off trying to distance yourself anyway.

I wouldn't do that (habour secret desires for months to come), that'd be stupid and pointless and just make me depressed. I'm just gonna try to get over her as soon as I can.

I assure you I have no intention of doing anything on this in the immediate future and trying to force everything to be okay (aside from the message yesterday which I felt was probably necessary), I was just curious as to what people from a objective, unbiased perspective thought.

Don't see point in torturing yourself. Be friendly if you meet, but stop chasing her. Got to get room in your life for a girl you can get.

If you keep sending apology messages on Facebook, you're doing too much. Assuming you wouldn't stress this much if you thought you might have slightly annoyed a male friend, it shows you're thinking too far into it. If you're only friends, treat it like that, otherwise it's just torturing yourself.

Stick to that, or I'm going to buy a plane ticket to Heathrow, the train down to Portsmouth, a ticket to the next PFC Ladies game, and I'm going to boo for 90 minutes. Presumably, while running through the stands to avoid the lone steward in attendance. And later, the police.

Think that it's just a small community museum...memorabilia and the like. And yeah, despite his being the only Canadian champion, I never quite loved Jacques.

Agree . On that point , I also think Like Rosberg is the luckiest ! though I did rate him as a driver . 1982 , what a season that was , so much tragedy and turmoil and stunning races .

    And politics .

Did anyone watch Late Kick Off this week..? It's the last one of the season. There was an interview with Wayne Bridge, conducted by James Beattie [full interview on LTO's Facebook] and one of the questions was about his personal favourite moments in football. About half of them were about playing for Southampton and the pride he took in making his father proud. I was slightly surprised by how humble he is and that he knows people get the impression that he's a big time Charlie, but he says he isn't. Even his Brighton teammates took the mickey, but then realised he was just a reasonable bloke.

Here's LTO on iPlayer. The whole programme was pretty good, in any case, but you get a fraction of the interview:

And Steve Fletcher has retired too..!

So last night during a social with us and the Uni's English department, I got told by three different English girls that I look like Frank Turner, and that I should keep growing my beard. I consider that a success :p
