McShane, Bruce and Faye have been dropped when fit for periods this season. Faye was out of the team for about two months at one point. Hobbs was dropped for at least one game in January (Peterborough) can't remember if there were any more he missed just after or not. Chester hasn't been dropped at all all season. Bruce obviously doesn't buy into this idea that he's had a bad season.

 

Just a coincidence that we announce a friendly with Birmingham so soon after the season has finished ?

 

I recall seeing Davies play for Luton when we dicked'em 3-0. I can't believe he is only 28. Seems to have been around for ages...Good player.

 

Don't know, but I'd take Redmond off Birmingham.. heard he's available for £2m!! bargain.

Ill admit I didn't know just how bloody good he was, I thought he was tried, tested and found wanting at this level, saw nothing that said otherwise whenever we played Birmingham either.

Still think we should have kept Hobbs though, but I guess there wasn't really much choice with our overstock of centre halves and him being the only real saleable one bar Chezzy.

 

I agree, but I just can't help but laugh at Brady's 'has been' quote.
