Holy cow - that was all kinds of wrong, wasn't it? Not that I would have fared much better - I was tipping Bolton, Leicester and Wolves pre-season. Best stay speechless now, then.
I'm sure there was another thread last summer where we had this debate but I argued the toss out of it saying Leeds definitely wouldn't be promotion candidates this year and we would. Simply because, regardless of managers and owners, they didn't have a very good team and we did.
TWS under Brian McDermott could well be one of the teams to beat next season. So glad that Hull City are no longer a part of that Crazy Crazy world of Championship football. As things stand I would go for TWS, Reading and Bolton to be the 3 teams to beat in that league next season.
Think that some of the posts are ****ing hilarious, I was looking at the spine of squad from last season and with Chester, Hobbs, Koren, Fryatt and SB's knowledge we would be there or there abouts! Love it when I am right (it does not happen often)
Winning the league doesn't make him the best manager. Man City won the premier league last year I guess that made Mancini the best manager up there?
I'm going to have a deep sea diver double on Derby next season in the Champ and City to survive in the prem.
I am, and I was struggling with working out how I was going to explain this one: Then I realised the timing of the post meant it was before we signed Faye, Prossy, Elmo, and Aluko, and switched our formation to remove the winger role and let us play Koren and Aluko. (We wouldn't have been able to have both of them competing for 1 spot in the team all season)
