    Who do you suggest?

You clearly don't want Moyes, who exactly is your answer?

I think the appointment is seen as safe for some people and not very exciting.

However, we don't need massive changes at United. We need someone who has the character to walk into the club and carry things on the way they've been going for years.

The more I think of the appointment the more I like it to be honest.

    Fergie?

Of course thats not going to happen but if I could pick anyone in world football then it would be Mourinho.

Sure he has problems ( all of which happened at badly run mickey mouse clubs ) but hes a winner, home and abroad. es a ****er of the highest kind but hell, most none United fans think very much the same of Fergie. Why? Because hes a winner and people don't like winners.

Mourinho would also be the safe option where as Moyes is a massive massive risk. If it goes wrong we are ****ed. We may never recover like our pals on Merseyside and end up living on past glories.

Mourinho's supposed record of leaving clubs in tatters is just utter nonsense. He was forced out of Chelsea by a ****ing moron who regretted it from the moment he did it, made Inter Milan the best side around and then they hired Benitez of all people ( that would be Inters fault ) and hes just playing the stupid game that has ben goin on for years at Real Madrid.

I think we can do a hell of a lot better than David Moyes.

Its confirmed, on the official website. He wasn't my choice, but he's a decent enough manager and he has my support. Here's what Sir Alex had to say.

Its confirmed now but its anything but safe. Its up their with some of the craziest decisions in football history.

Anyway, good luck to him, I am not overly optimistic he will be around for all 6 year and I fear we may become just another club over the next 5 years but I will support him through his time here and look forward to him making me look like a ****ing tit <ok>

Mourinho guarantees **** all. No one does.

In fact, I'd go as far as to say he could potentially leave us in a far worse position than Moyes ever could. He wins trophies and he causes trouble in equal measure and would be just as much a risk as Moyes. As is anyone.

I really don't get this notion we're ****ed if it doesn't work out straight away, really wierd.

It isn't the same climate as when Liverpool ****ed it up and nor are we ****ing Liverpool.

Not unhappy as such. Left feeling pretty cold by it all though. Goes without saying of course, that i hope he does so well i'm forced to quit the site out the shame of doubting him.

I think it's the best option, im very happy with it when you think he has been friends with fergie for years, was approached in 1998 to be assistant, he has been on the radar for years, seamless transition, will be good to see him prowling the touchline like fergie used to. #inUNITEDwetrust

    Mate I couldn't agree more!!!
    How are we ****ed????
He is a good manager inheriting a great squad, will have Fergie to lend him a hand if needed. Will get funds to improve, Mourinho is a 2/3 season merchant and in fairness he goes into clubs and fixes them, last time I looked we certainly don't need fixing!

Without people getting twatish, do you think he is the man to guide you's, I just feel that even though he may bring a trophy or 2 he also brings disruption and chaos, imo I feel with the squad you have maybe needing a big name striker, surely stability is what will bring you regular success, He doesn't exactly stick around does he?

I'm quite happy with Moyes. I'd be apprehensive whoever we got. Mourinho is a liability, he does **** all to develop a side he just buys what he wants. Klopp would have been a risk. So what he has won the bundesliga.. I'm sure rafa won stuff in spain, and that ramos tit spurs hired a few years ago won stuff in spain and was utter ****. I'd have felt nervous if got pep guardiola.. He just inherited a great team and kept it on an even keel now thats getting on a bit.

Moyes develops his youth gives stability and knows his way round th PL. Yes he might be **** in europe to start with but lets face it we have been **** in europe anyway the last 2 seasons with fergie. . Its a good appointment and i personally dont care if get a bit **** for a couple of seasons i mean **** ie not win anything. ideally not fall into mediocrity but he should be given ample time to settle in and add to the team.
