For me it was Rangers versus Bayern Munich in 1972 in the semi final of the cup winners cup. The Bayern side formed the nucleus of the West German team that won the world cup in 1974. It included Sepp Maier, Franz Beckenbauer and Gerd Muller. I realise it's not on their list, but anything The Sun produces is obviously going to be flawed.
As I said on the Celtic site Dundee Utd 5-0 Borussia Moenchengladbach Absolutely destroyed them with their pace. It was a blitzkrieg.
I remember that game ER it was a great result, but Borussia were not the club they once were at that time.
Bayern Munich recently beat Barcelona both home and away in the semi final of the Champions League. The last side to do beat them home and away was Dundee United. Rangers beating Lyon 3-0 was some result too. Also, our 3-1 win over Berwick in February was special.

I always thought the Parma result back in 1999 was a cracker too. They had Buffon, Cannavaro, Thuram and Vanoli. We had Tony Vidmar and Craig Moore
Yeah good call, that was some team back then. Look how many world cup winners they had. Parma: Buffon, Sartor, Baggio, Ortega, Boghossian, Cannavaro, Di Vaio, Thuram, Serena, Vanoli, Walem. Subs: Micillo, Benarrivo, Breda, Fuser, Stanic, Torrisi, Montano.
