    OK we've established that these sides all avoided relegation on the last day of the season, but they have some-thing very specific in common.

    As for the missing team; they are currently not in the Premier League. In fact they were relegated the next season and have never since returned to the top flight.

    Remember a previous clue: As for the missing team; they are currently not in the Premier League. In fact they were relegated the next season and have never since returned to the top flight.

    How about Oxford United Devo. I remember them in Div 1 and avoiding relegation on the last day of the 84/85 season I think it was, and going down the next season I think amid the Maxwell hullabaloo?
