What happens to Everton though guys? Havent really mentioned it too much? Do we reckon they will stay up next year?
He is considerably much more of a gamble. LFC are not a title or trophy competing side currently and a manager with potential isn't much of a gamble. We can't get much worse...and we don't expect anything except improvements with each season - which is why he'll get time. UTD, however, are competing and have massive expectations. A manager who's won nothing is going to be under huge pressure to imediately win something and keep them challenging. BR and Moyes are in two very different positions. It's a poor comparison.
You don't seem too confident Martinez could end up very good and actually show that Moyes did an average job. You never know.
It Is a good comparison an unproven manager In charge Of Liverpool! 1st half of the season you lot were on his back and a load of you would take Benitez back In a heartbeat there Is no way LFC fans will give Rodgers time If you are no where In the league and out of the cups March next year he will be gone you lot WILL be calling for his head It's only the 3 good months after January transfer window has saved him this year IMO... I think PMK has It licked Its more of a Fergie Apprentice role with him upstairs pulling strings...With the squad UTD have and money to add/strings being pulled there Is a good chance we will hardly notice a change but of course UTD/Everton haters will want him to fail lol which Is understandable In a way I hope he fails lol It will be the beginning of us relegation scrapping every year again lol that and He'll never ****ing win at Anfield you lot should be laughing
You could be right Bow4 some things Just click...I think we would do better attacking more, we have some good players In Mirallas,Fella ,Baines and Pienaar etc we can knock It about when we are set up too we look ****e when he goes negative Of course some of these may wish to empty their lockers now too so who knows??
Of course it is but as I said it makes it a bit easier to get some leeway when you can point to at least one trophy or a few good European runs. Not having a pop at Moyes in particular I'm just not sure it's quite as solid an appointment as if he'd gone to a different club or more importantly followed a different manager.
If Everton's new manager can keep Baines, Jagielka & Mirallas plus use the money from the sale of Fellaini to get a striker & creative no.10 then they'll do as well as they usually do if not better under the new man. Just needs to make sure that he doesn't change things too quickly. Going to be interesting seeing Moyes go from an environment where he was comfortable and there were no real targets bar finishing top half into a club where 2nd place is deemed failure and trophies are expected every season, so is attacking football.
It's a hell of a seat to fill mind I must admit Anyway **** Moyes now I'm more worried about the 40 point mark next season
Agree specially with the attacking bit as we look a good side when we are set up to and told to play but look **** when we set up not to lose a reason why Moyes record against the top clubs away from home Is Dire
I tan thank **** Only place I burn really is on my shoulders, I'll use factor 30 for a few days then will go down to 20, 15 and then 10.
You lot come over, " OMG, luv your accent, can you speak European again?" We go over, " Is that another bloody yank, ffs !"
