Why do you feel we are undeserving of a playoff place? Every team is where they are on merit at this stage. I would never advocate setting out to hurt a player, no matter what the stakes are and I honestly don't believe any of our players would set out to do something like that.
You have misinterepted what I have said, stick a corner directly on his head and get our biggest players to challenge him and let him know he isnt going to be in for an easy afternoon. I dont mean set out to injure him. Had Schmeichel been in the same boat you would want your team to do the same thing. As the home team we are going to come straight at you and look for any advantage we can. Just like you would And how are we undeserving in the play offs? After 46 games we were the 6th best team in the league. We may have won 3 of the last 17 but in the 29 games before that were the 2nd best team in the league. Collectively over the season we deserve play offs as the table proves
We only had second for 9 minutes between Cardiff going 1-0 up and Hull equalising. Both goals were while we were at HT due the delay for the injury to Bond. Hopefully, the disappointment was more to do with losing the game in time added on, rather than the consequences. I am confident of our abilities when we are on song but I am also aware that despite our last meeting, whether at the Walkers/King Power Stadium or at Filbert Street, Leicester hasn't been the most successful away day for us over the years.
I think whoever is reffing will be mindful of overzealous forwards and protecting goalies after recent events. Thankfully
Don't blame Leicester fans for thinking they'll win it, their boys will be bouncing. Going on the two games I have seen them in this season we are in a different class and should hammer them but I really an't see that happening after Saturday. Think I would risk Vydra with Fessi in behind him, coz I've not seen any postives to Geigo's game yet. Finally, I think suggesting "smashing" into Bond is quite a poor shout. Hopefully they'll show a bit more class than the Leeds player did. 2-1 Leicester - with a late Abdi free kick dragging us back into the tie.
Perhaps chaps he would say that is considered to be 'FOOTBALL mate' in the E Midlands , although doubt many Leicester people would endorse him. Told yer best not to engage with the PF!
No Proud Fox, I didn't misinterpret you. If you didn't mean what you actually said then you should be far more careful about how you express yourself.
Get your knickers untwisted. Roughing up a goalkeeper that will be wary of a recent injury is just what I expect of my football team. If a opposition has any weaknesses then i'd expect us to exploit them.
Isn't it obvious that what they are saying is they won't be able to beat us by playing football so need to resort to cheating - excellent news in my view we've done well against teams reduced to 10 or 9 players. Looking forward to a trip to Wembley already!
Maybe so, but Leeds did that and ended up with more players on the field than we did on Saturday. If Bond does end up playing, I would imagine that there would be a contingency plan in place to counter the 'roughing up' possibility. Such as , dropping Doyley and having One Size in as Bond's minder. Then let them try......
