I noticed but I've only just stopped laughing enough to write anything <laugh>

Surely the natural replacements for Moyes would be Hodgson or Pullis (**** ...that would be funny) or even a Big Sam. Harry might be looking for the exit door now he's taken RQP down <ok>

Glad you found it funny <ok>

Pullis would be brilliant wouldn't it? Long ball United would be comedy gold!

  7. I wanted Man Utd to get Mourinho. Sure, he does well short term but leaves clubs in a mess long term!

    <rofl>

this has to be a dream, pinch me.. david moyes the biggest hoof ball merchant bar pulis in charge of utd... a man who's proved 4 out of 10 years that he can't organise his team at the start of a year... a guy who spat the dummy over lescott and nearly got his team relegated as a result... is in charge... <laugh> of utd...

Poor old everton... who will they get with no money now? rodgers maybe? you can have him if you like? We'll just take rafa back i suppose.....

no i have to pinch myself again....

    This is actually happening!!!!

Moyes is a top manager, but so far only with an average team and zero expectations beyoing avoiding the drop in his first few years.

He has alot to prove, United is a whole new kettle of fish; player quality, european games, expectations, finances, etc. I think he could be a good replacement in the long run, but I think he'll also need time to find his feet. BR needs time here, but we're not expecting a title challenge in the next few years at the same time, so we're happy for him to get it. United will still expect trophies, and not sure Moyes can deliver that yet.

Interesting next season. I'd put money on City or chavski to win the league and United third possibly.

This has surely got to be Roberto Martinez finally moving to a higher club.

Any one agree with me on this? It seems so obvious to me.

    Martinez to Everton.

moyes has never showed an ounce of desire to play a passing game. utd fans will not accept the game they accused us of playing with carragher... HOOF they used to say..... well what precisely has moyes down bar get it forward to two big donkeys and use width?

the only thing that remotely suits utd is that use of width but utd are the ONLY side i the prem who play european style ball retention with tempo of the prem. when moyes destroys that ball retention philosophy then we'll see an awful disaster coming.

Ronney will not hang about with long ball no matte rif moyes loves him. RVP aint a target man and with the best will in the world a total and utter footballing philosophy shift is required from him.

No club hiring a manager should expect him to so utterly change. whe nyou hire a manager you are looking TO change.

examples: mourinho to chelsea = a new defensive mentality... RA finally sacked him to get pretty stuff and kept sacking until he got it.

Utd are likely to end up sacking moyes to fid a manager closer to ferguson's style..... best of luck though... i mean it... I hope you stay up!

I do rate Martinez, though I feel he has a lot to learn. He could be a success with Everton (though dont expect titles) but would need time as he is very different to Moyes.

Pienaar and Mirallas could thrive in his style of play. But other players, the older members of the team, may not be so well suited.

True. He could work for them.

Like us and Rodgers they are both gambles which could work really well.

There is a chance of Wenger leaving Arsenal to (though I doubt it). They may admire Martinez to.

Wenger leaving too? That would interesting.

If Arsenal actually bothered to invest and keep Wenger they could boss this League.

doesn't make any sense to me.

a team of hoofers with a guy trying to play football. this is what martinez does each year to put wigan in the relegation zone.

just go get pulis end of....
